Mineralogical composition of rich iron ores of KMA deposits is considered in the work, with the aim of potential obtaining high-quality iron ore products, as a raw material for metallization. It is noted, that rich iron ores of KMA have a complex geological and mineralogical structure. As a result of the research, it was found that the diversity of mineral types of high-grade iron ores of KMA deposits is due to the different mineral composition of parent materials, and the development of secondary processes (carbonation, chloritization). Significant heterogeneity of high-grade ores in composition, properties and quality is shown in the work.
